  • HOW DO I GET MY MEAL PLANS AND GROCERY LISTS? - Every Friday (around noon your time) you will get an email from me that will include a link to the next week's meal plan. Once you go to the website, you can configure your meal plans, and download/save your meal plan and print off your grocery list (or shop via Amazon Fresh if that is your jam).
  • HOW DO I CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE? - please reach out using the easy tools in your member portal and I will assist you. Yes, I answer all the email and support requests personally. When you reach out you are chatting directly with CHEFBear.
  • HOW MANY SERVINGS DO THE MEALS MAKE? - In general our recipes make 4 generous, I like to say bear sized, servings. There often will be enough leftovers for lunch the next day.
  • WHY DO YOU ONLY PROVIDE RECIPES FOR 4 MEALS? - Excellent Question! My research shows that between leftovers, sport games and social events, very few of us have time to cook a meal at home 7 nights per week. 4 meals seem to be the sweet spot - but with the bonus meal options you can get up to 4 extra meals per week.
  • DO YOU POST NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION? - I do provide basic nutritional information, but my food philosophy is to create fresh and easy meals without counting numbers. Learning how to cook fresh and easy meals is valuable skill that will outlast any diet fad.
  • MY KIDS (OR SPOUSE) ARE USED TO FAST FOOD. HOW WILL I GET THEM TO EAT FRESH HOME COOKED FOOD? - Get them involved! Kids are proud of what they make and more likely to taste it. Let them help peel carrots or measure ingredients. Sit down to dinner. Kids like to be the center of attention. Make a habit of dinner time being their time to shine. You might be surprised at what new dishes they will try. Making dinner can really be quality family time.
  • I DON'T HAVE ANY SPECIAL COOKING EQUIPMENT. WILL I BE ABLE TO FOLLOW THE MEAL PLANS? - Absolutely! The meal can be made with very little special equipment. When special equipment like a slow cooker is used, there will always be an alternative way suggested.
  • WILL I HAVE ACCESS TO MY MEAL PLANS AFTER MY MEMBERSHIP HAS EXPIRED? - Once your subscription has expired you will no longer have access to the website or the past meal plans. Every meal plan can be easily printed off or saved as a PDF, but that is your responsibility to save them off. But, why worry - once you join Confident Kitchen you will never want to let your membership expire.
